NewbieGameProgrammers started as a site to promote 2 great FREE products I found on the Internet to make Video Games. First was the great Game Programming Package called Allegro, and along with the Free C/C++ Compiler DJGPP, I was able to create my first few games. Their was only one problem, I could never find much help on these 2 products or how to use them.

So I started this website as a 1 stop shop to find everything you needed to make Video Games. Along with Allegro and DJGPP, their are hundreds of examples source code, tutorials, graphics, sound effects, background music, and much more.
